The experienced jewelers at each of Brown and Company’s locations in Atlanta can conduct jewelry appraisals of all types. If you recently inherited a piece of jewelry or you’re thinking of selling an old favorite, bring it to us first to obtain its accurate value.

Brown & Company Jewelers recommends our customers update their jewelry appraisals a minimum of every three years. Most people that suffer a loss today are under-insured and lose thousands of dollars due to outdated appraisals. The value of your gold, diamonds, precious gems, and jewelry is determined by current market prices.

Our in-house appraiser, Nisha Goel, has vast experience with fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, fine timepieces and antiques. Goel is a Certified Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. She has over fifteen years of experience in jewelry sales, insurance replacements, customer service, buying and selling estate period jewelry and luxury timepieces. She has been working at Brown & Co. Jewelers for over 10 years as our in-house appraiser.

If you would like to be present during the appraisal, an appointment is required. Appraisal items may also be checked in through our service department. There is a fee to have your jewelry appraised. If you would like to receive an estimate, please call your preferred location. With each item appraised, you will be provided with documentation accepted by all insurance companies.

Brown & Company is not accepting jewelry for appraisals until January 4, 2023.

Thank you for your patience during the holiday season! We look forward to appraising your items in the new year!
